Decrease in expression of LAT1 and 4F2hc proteins by cardiac glycosides. A Expression of THADA (190 kDa), LAT1 (40 kDa), 4F2hc (80 kDa), and β-actin (45 kDa) in KB cells. The cells were treated with 30–3000 nM ouabain (left), oleandrin (middle), or digoxin (right) for 24 h, and then the lysate samples were prepared. As a control, the cells were cultured in the absence of cardiac glycosides for 24 h (cont). Western blotting of the samples (15 μg/lane) was performed, and typical images of the blotting were shown.
