Electrocardiograms from long axis M-mode images were recorded, and cardiac morphology and function were evaluated by the levels of interventricular septum thickness at diastole (IVSd), left ventricular posterior wall thickness at diastole (LVPWd), left ventricular internal dimension at diastole (LVIDd), interventricular septum systolic thickness at systole (IVSs), left ventricular internal dimension at systole (LVIDs), left ventricular posterior wall thickness at systole (LVPWs), ejection fraction rate (EF), fractional shortening rate (FS), and heart rate (HR) beats per minute (BPM) during recording of mice at 18 and 30 weeks of age. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001 versus WT mice, and #P < 0.05 versus H222P mice
