Effects of introduction of the inhibitory proteins of RhoA and Rac1/Cdc42 on the thrombin-induced mono- and di-phosphorylation of MLC (pMLC and ppMLC) in porcine aortic endothelial cells (PAECs). PAECs were pretreated with 5 μM inhibitory proteins of RhoA and Rac1/Cdc42 for 30 min prior to and during stimulation with 1 unit/mL thrombin. MLC phosphorylation was evaluated with Phos-tag SDS-PAGE followed by immunoblot detection of MLC. The data are expressed as the mean ± SEM (n = 4). *P < 0.05, according to an ANOVA followed by Dunnett’s post hoc test.
