PINK1 and Parkin proteins accumulation in severe hypoxia levels as a result of 26S proteasome inactivation. Human BM-MSCs were incubated in hypoxia chamber under different hypoxia levels (0.5–15% O2). Cell lysate was prepared, and Western blot was carried out to check the levels of PINK1 and Parkin proteins. As the severity of hypoxia raises (low oxygen levels), PINK1 and Parkin proteins upregulated and accumulated gradually as a result of poor 26S proteasome degradation function; n = 3. *p < 0.05 compared to normoxia group; #p < 0.05 compared to moderate hypoxia
