LncRNA MALAT-1 interference affected cell viability and apoptosis in RCC 786-O and Caki-1 cell lines. SiRNA was used to inhibit MALAT-1 expression to investigate its biological role in RCC cell viability and apoptosis. 786-O (a) and Caki-1 (b) cells were transfected with si-MALAT-1 or an si-control, respectively. Relative cell viability was assessed by a CCK-8 assay. Cell nuclei were visualized by DAPI staining, and DNA strand breaks in apoptotic cells were detected by a TUNEL assay.
