Astrocyte Kv channels regulate repolarization. a–c In astrocytes, a 3-nA current injection elicited a voltage overshoot, followed by a partial repolarization. Addition of 20 mM TEA plus 30 μM quinidine (a), 20 mM TEA followed by addition of 30 μM quinidine (b), or 30 μM quinidine followed by addition of 20 mM TEA (c), dramatically diminished the extent of repolarization. d In H1355 cells, overshoot elicited by a 3-nA current injection was not affected by 20 mM TEA plus 30 μM quinidine.
