From: Retardation of C2C12 myoblast cell proliferation by exposure to low-temperature atmospheric plasma
Plasma exposure affected the percentage of cells in cell-cycle phases. Cells were treated with plasma exposure (3.5 W) for 1 min and returned to the CO2 incubator. Cells were lysed at 8 and 24 h after the plasma exposure. Flow cytometry plots of DNA content were measured by PI staining. Representative histograms from flow cytometry for the control (argon gas flow only) (A) and plasma-exposed (Plas) (B) cells at 8 h after exposure are shown.
