The 0.5 (width) × 0.5 cm (height) sample of the posterior bladder wall was embedded in paraffin. Paraffin blocks were cross-sectioned in 5 μm thickness. The upper side is the mucosal layer. The bladder walls in WTBOO and TGBOO were thickened by hypertrophied smooth muscles and fibrosis
