The neurovascular coupling was calculated as the SCBF/LFP ratio. The coupling was significantly different between the fluorocitrate (solid line) and control (dotted line) group over time (p  <  0.01). The progressive decrease of the neurovascular coupling in the fluorocitrate group was significant from 2 h and afterward following fluorocitrate administration (p  <  0.04).
