Mild foot electrical stimulation has equal effect as phenytoin, on increasing the latency to stage five seizure. One-way analysis of variance analysis showed significant differences among PTZ, MFES.PTZ and phe.PTZ groups [F(4, 46) = 31.07; *** p < 0.001], Post hoc analysis revealed that this difference was significant for PTZ.MFES group (***p < 0.001) and Phe.PTZ group (p < 0.001) as compared to PTZ group.
