  1. “Ex-duration” indicates the duration of ramp exercise. “Correlation (r)” indicates the correlation coefficient between \( \dot{V}_{{{\text{O}}_{ 2} }} \) and \( \dot{V}_{\text{CO}} \), and between \( \dot{V}_{\text{E}} \) and \( \dot{V}_{\text{CO}} \) in the whole period of measurements from rest to recovery as titled \( {\text{T}}\dot{V}_{{{\text{O}}_{{\text{2}}} }} - {\text{T}}\dot{V}_{{{\text{CO}}}} \) and \( {\text{T}}\dot{V}_{\text{E}} - {\text{T}}\dot{V}_{\text{CO}} \). “Slope coeff” indicates the slope coefficient in the regression equation between \( \dot{V}_{{{\text{O}}_{ 2} }} \) and \( \dot{V}_{\text{CO}} \), and between \( \dot{V}_{\text{E}} \) and \( \dot{V}_{\text{CO}} \) for the data set obtained during ramp exercise period as shown \( {\text{E}}\dot{V}_{{{\text{O}}_{2} }} - {\text{E}}\dot{V}_{{{\text{CO}}}} {\text{ and E}}\dot{V}_{{\text{E}}} - {\text{E}}\dot{V}_{{{\text{CO}}}} \)
