Normal learning ability and memory retention of BAI2-deficient mice in the Morris water maze. a The time required to find the submerged platform (goal latency) of wild-type (WT) and BAI2-deficient (KO) mice was recorded during the training trials in the Morris water maze test. No significant difference was observed between the two groups. b Although the traveled distance during the training trials of BAI2-deficient mice was longer than that of wild-type mice on some days (days 1, 2, 7), no significant difference was observed at the end of the training trials (days 8, 9, 10). c The number of platform crossings was recorded over 90 s in the probe trial.
